These programs provide advertising and information to members and non-members alike.
The Member Advertising Program (MAP) is a unique, cooperative marketing program whose purpose is to drive visitors to the farms and ranches of AOBA MAP participants. Additionally, a publication is also included entitled the Alpaca Owners Guide (AOG).
The Alpaca Owners Guide (AOG) publication is a continuing resource where farms, ranches, and vendors of alpacas, alpaca apparel, alpaca home accessories, alpaca jewelry, and suppliers of farm and ranch needs may further promote their alpaca-related businesses and services.

In addition to the above programs, each summer a major auction is held at the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association national conference. Superior alpacas are offered for sale at the auction to the highest bidder. The Alpaca Livestock Company manages the auction promotion and sale.
